Currently the shack HF rig consists of a Xeigu G90 and the XPA125 100 Watt amplifier and the antenna at my QTH is a Chameleon Sky loop (80 meter full wave horizontal loop) @ 30′. For mobile antennas I am likely using the Chameleon delta loop, but also may be running an endfed in various configurations depending on what i have to hang it from.
I am also running the JS8Call on my Mac Book Pro or Surface Pro through a signal link USB interface sound card into the G90. However when running the JS8Call I do not run the amplifier since it takes up the acc port and there is no need for the amplification, and reaches out just fine at 20 watts..
VHF/UHF shack radio is a Yaesu FTM 300DR with a Diamond Quad Band antenna mounted on the chimney which has a large metal flashing cap for a good ground plane. This system is great from Tipton Mi I can reach repeaters in Ann Arbor, Jackson, Toledo Oh, and I can even reach the repaeter on top of the Detroit Ren Center.
Other equipment includes the MFJ 28 amp switching power supply.
