I received my Novice ticket in July, 1974 as WN8SZM. I never operated under that license, as I soon turned 16 and found other things to distract myself. In June, 2004 I looked up the state of amateur radio on the internet and was pleased to see that it was still alive and more! I quickly passed the Tech exam in July, 2004 and became KD8ACG. I then passed the General exam in August, 2004. I passed my Extra class exam in February, 2005 and am anxious to work on all parts of the bands! In April, 2005 I received the call WF8P. I’m having a great time and would like to receive QSL cards from everyone. I’ll also send mine. 73….Mike
