Member Bio
As of February 2022 I have been an active ham for 35 years. First licensed in 1987 while serving in the US Navy and stationed at NAS Norfolk, VA, my novice call was KC4BCL. I was an Extra by 1989 holding the FCC sequentially issued call of WO8J. There were no vanity calls back then. I was also a member of the CINCLANT FLT club station WA4ZUA and operated phone patches to ships afloat using the MARS call NNN0NHA. Fun times.
Other calls I have held- KC4BCL, KE8RW, WO8J, W9RPE, KB9E, W8RPE.
My current station.
