I have a wife, two sons (one 25 and the other 16).

I’ve been a soldier, retail business owner, freelance journalist, logistics professional, sales professional, an application developer, and I currently run a small systems integration and development team for a 3PL warehousing company.

Pastimes, besides radio, are camping,  reading, movies, Tai Chi, hiking, geocaching,  and writing code for fun.

Currently using a Xiegu G90 20 Watt Transceiver for HF with an endfed  in the attic.  For the Field I have a 17′ telescopic whip (MFJ 1979)  and a Wolf River Coil to handle 40 and 80 meter.   BTech UV-25X4 with a Nagoya tri-band antenna in the car. And I have a BTech DMR 6X2 and a couple of hot spots for digital.

I have recently found FT8 and JS8Call and have been spending a lot of time with those as well.

I am a member of the RV Radio Network(1529), OMISS(13822),  and the YL System (18299).
