I live on the southeastern coast of Massachusetts, 30 miles south of Boston. I enjoy DXing and the occasional ragchew/net.

I got hooked on radios as a kid with a crystal radio kit I got for my 8th birthday. I studied electronics in High School and continued on to become a Microwave Radar Technician in the Massachusetts Army National Guard. I wanted a little more action (fun) so, I joined the Combat Engineers and became a dump truck driver for the demolition crew. It was a blast!!! Literally..

I’m the Vice President of the Whitman Amateur Radio Club (WARC) in Whitman Mass.

The home of the world famous “WINTERFEST” warmly known as The First, Best, Hamfest of the year!!!

My Main HF Rig is an Icom IC-7300. Amplifier is a Dentron 160-10L amplifier, held back by a 1000 watt tuner. Antennas include a 385′ horizontal loop at 80′ high, a 40 meter Delta loop and an Imax 2000 vertical for 10-17 meters, a 3 element six meter beam.
