Currently working in Macon, Ga. Spend my weeks there and most of my weekends at home in Beaufort, SC for the time being.

Member of the Beaufort Radio Amateurs Group (BRAG) and the ARRL.

I got my callsign on October 26th, 2024. Also got married that same day!

My current equipment (as of 2-4-25):

A Yaesu FTM-150RASP mounted in my truck with a Comet 2x4SRNMO antenna on a Comet lip mount. This is what I make most of my contacts on, generally.

A Yaesu FTM-6000R

An Icom IC-730 (thanks N5BI!)

A Yaesu FT-60 HT

A TYT MD-UV390+ HT

And a handful of assorted Baofengs I keep around

I’ve had a lot of fun so far with this hobby! I’ve been able to make contacts via the ISS repeater, 80m, 20m, 40m, VHF/UHF and have talked to and become friends with numerous people around the country and in the Georgia-South Carolina area.
