Hello my name is Terry Pierson or KF0MWU

I got licensed with my technician license in April 2023, general in April 24.

A little bit more about me.

I’m married for 31 years and looking at eternity with Hope.  We have 3 grown children.

I started into this hobby somewhere around ’96.  I was in the army stationed at Fort Drum NY.  I was a communications chief for an artillery unit,  I learned very quickly how to conjure,  rig,  and fix things while being the commo chief for the firing battery.

Life happened got injured and was discharged serving 13 yrs.  All together

Fast forward to 2020 I was studying for my technician lisc.

Covid 19 hit and shut down everything in the country.

2023 our church announced it was going to have a tech class and testing all in the same day.  Went and took the course & passed waited a year and did the same with the General,

I operate a Kenwood ts50a radio pushing 100 W currently.  My antenna is approximately 30 feet up in a tree it’s a g5rv with a external antenna tuner.

I really enjoy this hobby and look forward to learning and growing in it
