Member Bio
I got into ham radio in July of 2021 and passed my technician test at that time. I have an Anytone 878 UV Plus and a Icom ID52A handytalkie radios. I also work off a Raspberry Pi Hot spot with Hi Hat for DMR. I use my middle name “Scott” and look forward to many years of talking on the air. Just rerceived a Yaesu 857D from a good friend along with a Comet G3 antenna for 2m and 70 cm. I also received my General in April, 23 and now work HF off a 66ft. end fed antenna. I also have a Yaesu FT-70D and an Open Spot 4 pro to run on Fusion. I am a member of local radio club, W3OI (Lehigh Valley Amature Radio Club). I rode motorcycle for 35 years, ran four marathons, and was an avid golfer, as well but due to a disability, that all went away so that is why I got into Ham Radio hobby. I am a U.S.A.F. vet and was stationed in Suwan AB and Osan AFB, Korea and Ramstein AFB, Germany. (6/1/23)
