Member Bio

Retired US Navy Electronics Technician 23+ years, HF transmitter sites for shore duty and a variety of ships.  As a civilian i did a couple of years of R&D for the railroad on their saftey and  switching systems. Next came 5 years as an Enviornmental Controls Specialist  keeping the computers going so the pigs in our local corporate hog farms would be all comfy. For a change of pace I then went to Nursing school.  Following  school with 8 Years taking care of some interesting types in the local prison. I am now semi retired and only do a bit of home health care and some farming. ..My middle name is Lewis and I go by Lou to my friends…I  hang out on  DSTAR Ref 001C and of course the Scottish Reflector  Ref 006A….. I co-host the 6A Friday Knights Round Table there………
