Callsign changed to AB4PS as of 28 Nov 2023.
First licensed as WN4LIN during 1968-1969. Licensed as General (KQ4INU then as K4INU) in May 2023. Received my Extra in November 2023, along with a new callsign of AB4PS.
Current equipment consists of an Icom IC-7300, powered by a Samlexpower SEC-1235P-M, with a MFJ-962 VersaTuner III, and a Ameritron AL811H Amplifier. Current antennas are a Hustler 6-BTV with both the 12 Meter and 17 Meter upgrade kits along with 20 ground radials, a MFJ-G5RV Jr., and a 70 ft end-fed wire. For SSB, I’m using a ICOM SM-30 microphone, and I have a brass CT599MB imbanic key by UR5CDX (www.ur5cdx.com) for CW. The computer is a CORSAIR Vengeance i7500. I also have a ICOM ID-5100A into a Diamond Antenna X-30A to hit the local VHF and UHF repeaters.
I mostly operate on SSB (sometimes CW) on 80, 40, or 20, as well as digital (FT8/FT4) on 80, 40, 30, 20, and 17. Prefer QSL by QRZ, LOTW, or direct (paper). Please also update QRZ if sending a card. I will always respond with a QSL card if I receive one; all contacts made during 3095 Century Club nets always receive a QSL card as well.
Please don’t forget to tap the Web tab, above, to leave your callsign and a brief message to let me know you dropped by.
