My Amateur Radio experiance is realtively limited. I decide to get started in April of 2022. I took the Technician test around April 16th, 2022. I really enjoyed it and decied go for General and Extra as fast as possible. Passed the Extra in 30 days. Lots to learn, leaning something new everyday. I’ll update this as my experiance changes.

Lots of changes in a few months. I joined the OMISS net , YL Systems and NATA Net to make some contacts and meet new people. I have just received my QSL cards and I have a lot of them to send out.

I Changed the Ham Shack to a full SDR system. I was able to pick up a used Flex 6400 with as Maestro and the Flex PGXL Amp. I still have the ICOM IC-7300 as a reference station. I will be installing an Aluma Tower 100′ Tilt and Telescoping tower with a Steppir DB18E soon. DX’ing should be easier. There is a lot more to putting up a tower than just putting up a tower. I couldn’t have planned it withut reading Steve Harris’  aka K7LXC book “Up the Tower”.
