As of July 2021 I will be operating SIOUX ELECTRONICS out of my house.

I will be doing repairs on most everything electronic but I like Amplifiers the most.

My QTH IS SIOUX RAPIDS IA  It’s a very small town in NW Iowa. The Grid is EN22

My main radio is a FTDX3000. A gift from my XYL. Anniversery, birthday, christmas, george washinginton;s bday.  I did a LOT of begging to get this radio.

The main radio is for SSB and CW.

The backup radio is a FT920 that I purchased in 1998. I use it only for digital modes

This is the infamous Chevasu which is a FT-920 and a Chevy relay.

I had and sold the SB220 to KF6JKC in Oct 2019. it was my Main Amp.  I have rebuilt her 3 times. Hopefully this is last time.

I was licensed in 1995 as KC5JRB. Shortly after I decided to upgrade and learn the code. Eight months later, I was issued AC5CT when I earned my Extra. I asked for and received N5KB when the Vanity calls came along. I LIKE IT !!   De Mike N5KB

I have automated as much as I could. The PC controls nearly everything on the radio. I feed the audio to the PC and output that to the back of the radio.  There is nothing connected to front mic connector.
