Hello from Joe, N7ENS!

My radio is a Icom IC-7300. I also run an Ameritron AL-80A 1 KW amp through an HOA restricted wire antenna made by Nelson Antenna on 80M-6M installed as a sloper at 35 feet on a flagpole.

I have been a Ham since 1980. My original call sign was N6ENS where I was a Tech and Tech+ licensee in the Los Angeles area. I retired after almost 20 years from Motorola Communications where I was a RF Engineer and Salesperson/Sales Manager.

Escaped from CA in 2019 and moved to Idaho. Very happy to do so! Retired in Idaho and loving it! I am involved in Local Clubs and REACT here in the Treasure Valley.

I am a Life Member of the ARRL. Received my General license in March 2022 and am having a blast on HF! I like getting on the Nets and meeting Hams of all ages.
