In February 2020 I passed both my Technician and General currently studying for my Extra. I have wanted to be a ham since the mid seventies but because of arthritis of the hands was unable to pass the code requirement. Then life and job happened. So, because of lay-off and the Covid 19 I had time to study in 2019. I’m currently running an Yaesu FTDX-10, Yaesu M-70D desk microphone, MFJ-616 speech enhancer, and an MFJ-1025 noise canceler. My main antenna is a 201 foot random long wire up about 20-25 feet above ground direct to the tuner and artificial ground. I have 2 ground rods and multiple ground radials. my other antennas are a Tram 1498 10/11 M vertical and a Tram 1480 2 M & 70 CM. Other radios are  Yaesu FT-897D, Yaesu FT-2980R, TYT TH-7800, Anytone AT-6666, and a Baofeng UV-5R.  I’m old school so I believe in QSL cards.
