First licensed in 1976 as WN0RYK, upgraded to general as WB0RYK, move to Oklahama and KA5KLH, upgraded to advance and KD5FW, vanity call KJ5IM and now K0JDB.
Have upgraded my station, left side of my picture is ts590s pushing a a palstar hf auto tuner driving a palstar la-1k amp. On the right a ic7300 driving a amatron als600. Spent 8 yrs in the USN, served on the USS Dehaven DD 727, USS Yorktown CVS 10, USS Niagara Falls AFS 3 and the USS Cocopa ATF 101. Also a Vietnam Vet.3 tours. Earned the normal medals plus the Navy Achievement Award with the combat V.
My wife and I are also very much into volunteering in our National Parks. Spent 5 years at gulpa gorge campground in Hot Springs NP the another 5 years years at Buffalo National River at tyler Bend campgoud, which is 35 miles sourt of Harrisonville AR.At this point have almost 3600 hours.
