Owner of an IC-7300 with my homemade 130′ EFHW with 80, 40, 20, & 17 working sufficiently well. Will build more/others. I like the unintrusiveness of this antenna.

In the one year starting May 21st 2021, I got my callsign as a general. In that time I’ve used two Baofeng UV5Rs learning nets and repeaters. Then onto a Clearnode and Shari learning about Allstar nodes, Supermon, etc. Then I added an 878UVII+ as an HT upgrade, to learn abut DMR and codeplugs. I then purchased an Icom 7300, built an EFHW 80-10 and I’m starting to get into FT8. I did not think I would like this mode, but it’s getting addicting. I recently purchased and had installed a Yaesu FT-2980r, very nice 2M 80W rig. Used as a mobile rig with a Diamond MR77 dual band antenna (mag mount 19″)

I recently, Sept 2022, puchased a Yaseu FTM-300D as a dual band base station and I’m learning about System Fusion and Wires-X.
