Member Bio
Hi! Work me on the 3905 CENTURY CLUB, HHH, Geratol, OMISS SSB Nets http://www.omiss.net or from the mobile.
Also, look for me on 10 meter CW during contests, or on 6m CW during 6M openings. I QSL 100% and would love to add you to my log. I prefer eQSL.
Pictured above is my birdhouse antenna (HOA here).
Because I live in an HOA, antennas can be a challenge. For 40/80/160 I run a homebrew link dipole (with alligator clips for band changes) along the top inside of a 6′ privacy fence. (Wormburner.) At night for 40m when the band goes long, I have a vertical (painted black) I pop up discretely from time to time. Remainder of antennas are all in a small attic. Sometimes I run a coax to the mobile antenna with the vehicle parked in the driveway.
From the mobile I run an IC-706MKIIG into a Diamond SD-330 for HF and a dualbander for VHF/UHF.
Enjoy homebrewing equipment and accessories, antenna experimentation, and PSK-31. Mostly Icom gear.
73 es gud dxing….
