I have not been a ham very long but I’ve fallen pretty deep into the hobby. I passed my Technician exam in September of 2021, then got my General a month later, then I finally passed my Extra in June of 2022. I am currently a member of the Skywarn team in my area and I am also a certified VE with ARRL and LARA.

Base Station: Yaesu FTDX-3000 w/Yaesu M-70 mic with an old Heathkit SA-2060a manual tuner and an Ameritron AL80b amplifier. I am also using a SDRplay RSPDX for a panadapter. I run HRD mostly for digital modes. I am transmitting with an 80m off center fed dipole.

HT: Baofeng UV5R

Mobile: Yaesu FTM400XDR with a Comet 19″ antenna stuck on the roof of my pickup. I run APRS all the time when I’m mobile so messages are welcome if I pop up!! I am also running my Yaesu FT-891 mobile paired with a Baby Tarheel antenna.
