Member Bio

Daniel Bradford VanAtta resides in Bedford County, VA. Primary HF equipment includes: an Icom IC-756, an LDG AT-600Proll autotuner and an Ameritron AL-811 Amp to a Fan Dipole.  Other equipment I have and like to play with are a elecraft KX3 with Panadapter and Hardrock 50 amplifier I built from a kit and the IC-705. These days, behind the wheel a lot, I spend my time on the UHF digital modes: a Kenwood TH-D74 for D-Star (30C & 19C), a Yaesu FT2D for C4FM/YSF (Alabama Link & America Link) and an RFinder B1 Android device for DMR.
