New HAM. Just received my tech license Dec 7, 2018. Just upgraded to my General License on Feb 6, 2019.

In Dec 2019 I was able to obtain grandfathers callsign. He was an advanced HAM for many years and loved this hobby. It is nice keep him alive on the air, evan thoe he has passed away.

HF Rig: Yaesu, FT-450D fed to a MFJ-939 Tuner to a 10-80M End fed dipole.

2M/70cm Rig: Yaesu FTM 7250 to a Comet Vertical Antenna.

ARES Volunteer for Luzerne County, PA since 2019.

OMISS Member since June 2019. OMISS# 12085. Usually on 40 meter Net.

I have served over 27 years in the Army, was assigned the 1-109th Field Artillery in Wilkes Barre, PA. Now I’m retired.

I am also intrested FT-8 and have been making quite a few contacts.
