Member Bio

My name is Austin Hadley. I started learning about HAM radio at 10 years old (2015) with my uncle WA8YVF. I would spend ant time I could get with him talking to other people.

Unfortunately, WA8YVF moved to Castle Hayne, North Carolina in september of 2021. I then decided to study for my technician license. Studied for about a month before taking the test and getting my license issued on May 6th, 2023. I am currently saving my money to get some starter equipment after bootcamp to start communicating with other people. Hopefully one day i will be able to talk to WA8YVF on the air again.
