Member Bio

The name is Allen, I work for a local Electrical Utility as a relay technician, and was a inside wireman prior to that.  I was licensed as a techician in 2019, and just recently upgraded to general in 2022.  I run a Yaesu 991A at the QTH for HF and  C4FM simplex, a 2980 for 2 meters, and a 891 for portable HF.

I’m a member of the Crittenden Amateur Radio Operators Club, we started the club almost 2 years ago and run two Yaesu DR-2X repeaters.  West Memphis – 442.400 PL TONE – 107.2, Crawfordsville – 147.150 PL TONE – 107.2, both repeaters are linked via RF and run in AMS mode.  Nets are every Sunday and Thursday at 8 P.M.
