I became a ham in 9/23 and upgraded to General in 10/23.  I did do CB back in the 60’s  I am retired from banking for 45 years.  I really enjoy the Ham radio along with other hobbies, Flying, and SCUBA diving.

I have a FTDX 10 with a MFJ 949E tuner and two antennas.  One is an Ultimate 100 End Feed about 30 feet in the air at a slope. The other is an G5RV about 35 feet in the air and in an inverted V.  They do well as I have talked to all 50 States several times and about 20 countries although I am not into DX.  Everyone tells me I need a directional antenna and then look for an amp. Not sure I need anymore as I am enjoying the set up I have.
