USTNET FT8 Net

Come and join us every Saturday night on NetLogger at 23:30z (7:30 PM to 9:00 PM Eastern) for an exciting new FT8 Worked All States Net. This net provides a fantastic opportunity for amateur radio enthusiasts to gather and connect with like-minded individuals. By participating in this net, you can engage in thrilling connections and share your passion for radio communication. We encourage you to mark your calendars and make time for this incredible event. So, don’t miss out on this fantastic chance to join our community on Saturday nights and experience the FT8 Worked All States Net. We look forward to welcoming you and sharing in the excitement together!

Net Rules:

  1. Members are required to check in on NetLogger’s AIM CHAT Window ONLY. The NCS (Net Control Station) will log your time under the remarks.
  2. Start your FT8 operations.
  3. Make contacts with stations located in the United States on any band to progress towards your USTNET WAS Award.

The main objective of this net is to achieve Worked All States by reaching stations in Hawaii (HI) and Alaska (AK) because the current band conditions during our regular time slot on 40m and 80m don’t allow these stations to reach us. The net organizers have been diligently working towards extending our signal range to encompass these remote areas, enabling us to establish connections and gather invaluable contacts from across the United States. By expanding our reach to Hawaii and Alaska, we aim to foster a stronger sense of inclusivity and camaraderie within our net, making it truly representative of the country’s diverse amateur radio community. Through unwavering dedication and persistent efforts, we are determined to bring the joy of communication to every corner of this vast nation. Together, we can overcome the geographical challenges and forge connections that transcend distance and unite amateur radio enthusiasts nationwide.
